We started in Sydney, but only spent the night before our tour started there. We arrived in the evening, so we didn't really get to see that much of the city, which is sad. From Sydney, we drove to Coff's Harbour, but it was super shit. EXCEPT we went surfing, which was awesome. I stood up! I also drank a lot of salt water on the side, whoops. The tour group we went with is called Contiki, there were about 50 of us on the coach.
Sebastian on the airplane!
First picture in Sydney, dinner! Cheap kebabs! Delicious
Weird bird, we saw these everywhere.
Me, Julie, and Ashley. They go to school with me in New Zealand. Oh, also, the opera house.
Byron! Though, this isn't where we stayed, I just liked the whale. It looks like it's kissing me!
Inside our Hostel, it was a definite upgrade over Coff's Harbour's surf camp. There we slept in shipping crates that had been converted to a bedroom. I'm not kidding.
By the beach at Byron Bay. This was after we went sea kayaking, which was super awesome!
Sebastian's first trip to the ocean!
Not the best weather that day, but you can see the lighthouse!
A super delicious sandwich I had in Byron. It was the closest city to Asheville that we stayed in, lots of hippie shops and cafes.
Australia's most easterly point.
More of the easterly point
Lighthouse! It actually works, we saw it one night on the beach.
Close up.
The cliffs were pretty.
On the beach at night. The ice cream I was eating was SO GOOD.
Near the beach. Notice Sebastian's shades.
